From the United States to Bournemouth International Conference Centre to speak to the CWU delegates following this morning's debates, US politician and TV personality, Tina Turner took the hall by a storm! If anyone was bored and asleep when she took to the rostrum, they were certainly not once her 'gospel-style' oratory began. Speaking from the heart she enthralled the CWU top table and delegates for some 22 minutes as she spoke of the fight all Trade Unionists, both in the UK and in the US, are having against governments across the world who are through greed and anti-socialist policies; destroying workers rights and standards of living.
